My First Few Weeks in Physics

This past week my classes have been increasingly getting harder. They started out being fairly easy not having to put to much thought into the work that I was doing. But now it has all changed, the information we cover and the homework that I am doing is crazy.

Let me start out by trying the best I can, to explain some of the type of knowledge that I am learning. Lets start with physics. HA, where do I even start? Well I guess I should start from the beginning. To start off with that my professor is Romanian, so my main problem here is just being able to understand what he is even saying. Now trying to understand what he is even saying plus trying to actually learn what he is teaching, I believe is what is making this class so extremely difficult for me. So anyway we started off with just learning significant figures, which by the way is probably the easiest thing I will learn ever in this class. After spending almost an entire class on sig. fig. (this is the abbreviation for significant figures) I was thanking that this class isn't going to be as bad as everyone said it was, nor as bad as I thought it would. HAHA, but guess what happened in the next class? Yup your right. It went from elementary to extreme!! Now we started learning about vectors, which isn't too bad for me because I kind of understand them and get how to do it. See all a vector is pretty much is just a line segment (which is a line with two end points) that has magnitude, length, and direction. Then when solving problems with vectors, its jut pretty much just the use of trigonometry. We now are learning about 2-D Kinematics. Yea, that just sounds hard. Kinematics has to deal with external forces, motion, acceleration, velocity, gravity. Its pretty much describes an objects motion without taking in to consideration what lead to the motion.This is an example of some of the formulas and how they are derived, that we have to know. Lets just say that this class is going to be the death of me.
